Skipper Ken Read, CEO of PUMA Ocean Racing, is one of the world’s most accomplished and celebrated sailors. In addition to competing in the around the world Volvo Ocean Races in 2008-2009 and 2011-2012, Read has twice been at the helm of Dennis Conner’s America’s Cup programs. In 1985 and 1995, he wasnamed “United States Rolex Yachtsman of the Year”, and has 46 World, North American, and National Championships to his credit, in a variety of classes, including the J/24 and Etchells.
